Literature Text

Those fathomless slitted eyes are searching
Glossy white under the ebon tar
Dripping from celestial skies.
Tearing through stratus veils
Piercing into the binding
of the immortal inquisition.
Weedy tendrils are uprooted
from the weeping Earth.
Watch those buildings fall.
Even mirrors are shattered
Their dust glistened on eyelashes.
Reach into the golden honey
where acids burns off fingers.
Quest for the noxious grail
The aeriads chitter yet the cherubic sirens lay silent
Morning tides bring in the sunset
Whilst the rain streams to the moon
Well, that cat's killed.
Claws and fangs still poised.
Drowned in the Forbidden Box
Belied by the veracity of death
-Moonlight's Bane-
Where went the stars at dusk?
Beneath her fiery walls
Only Venus tells
This is probably one of the quickest poems I've written yet, and one of the very few that I wrote on paper. Not bad for writing during a class.
